With the likes of George Bush, Dick Cheney, Adam Putnam and John McCain, the access to information is nearly endless (until the government controls that too.) So when some one refers to our freedoms here in America, it is hard not to think on where we have been and where we are now going.
Under the direction of the lead pid piper Karl Rove, many Republicans in Congress have willfully been led into a facisit state of mind. What motivation do these men (and women) actually have outside of doing what is best for the citizens of the states they serve? It is a damn shame that these people, yes these people, actually are being elected based on the theory of "rally under the flag."
We are all proud citizens here in America. We love our country and the values it stands upon. However, we also feel that there has been a duping of Americans under this faux threat, that Iraq has Weapons of Mass Destruction, and we must "smoke 'em out."
We are sick and tired of this path that Bush, Cheney, Rove, McCain, Rove and Putnam have led us on. We have moved from a prosperous country to that of one that fears our government. From a country that empowers our workers at home to that of a country which is willing to ship jobs overseas in order to make that extra dollar. From a country that values our relationships in the world to one that is willing to go on a wild goose chase in order to not even get our "original target."
Might is not right. Duh.
